Ikh Bogd Uul In an effort to compare the diversity across mountain ranges in southern Mongolia, as diminishing time allowed this site was sampled. The larger canyons below the peak were rather heavily grazed mountain steppe with more shrubby canyons up to higher elevations. In addition, alpine meadows on the mountain plateaus and the relict forest patch were sampled. MammalsMongolian five-toed jerboa- Allactaga sibiricaMountain vole- Alticola sp.
