	Mongolia 1999 Elsen Tasarkhai We stopped for lunch at this site since we saw zokor mounds as we were driving by. While lunch was being prepared a few of us went to catch zokors. The area was sparsely vegetated with only a few small trees, and dry, sandy soil. Mammals False Zokor -Myospalax aspalax Parasites and Hosts Neither of the two animals caught here were infected.
