	Mongolia 1999 Kharkhorin This is one of several places where the GAZ broke down. Luckily this breakdown occurred next to a colony of Brandt's voles and took less than an hour to repair. Part of the crew worked on the truck, while part of the crew went looking for voles. This area was fairly typical short-grass steppe with rolling hills and rocky outcroppings.
